Retreats

The questions women actually ask.

Not soft-pedalled. The same answers Lisa gives on a call, written down.

Asked, honestly answered

Before you book, ask this first.

I would be coming alone. Is that strange?

Most women come alone. The groups are small on purpose, and by the end of the first day it stops feeling like coming alone. Many women say afterwards that arriving solo was the point.

How fit do I need to be?

Fit enough for the retreat you choose, by the time it starts, not today. Day retreats ask for a comfortable walk. The Camino asks for real training, and the training plan is part of the product with Lisa building it alongside you.

Why is the deposit non-refundable?

Because your place is real: rooms are held, guides booked, and a small group means one empty place changes the trip for everyone. The deposit is what makes the commitment mutual. Insurance, not the deposit, is what protects you when life intervenes.

Why is travel insurance mandatory?

On travel retreats the trip itself is non-refundable once booked. Insurance covering cancellation, medical care and repatriation means an emergency costs you the claim excess, not the whole trip. Lisa will not take a booking without it, and that is protection, not paperwork.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Choose a schedule at booking and see every payment and date to the cent before committing. The balance always clears before departure. Zelle works too; Lisa confirms those payments personally.

What if I have to cancel?

Tell Lisa immediately, then claim on your insurance; that is exactly what it is for. Where a waitlist can fill your place, she will always try, but it is never guaranteed.

What actually happens on a retreat?

Movement first: walking, sunrise, the trail. The breakthroughs follow. Every retreat has its rhythm on its own page, day by day, so you know what you are saying yes to.

Something else on your mind? Ask Lisa directly. Real answers, usually within a day.
