Happiness is a
work skill.
For teams that hit every target and lost the plot.
- From $2,500
- A half-day to a full offsite
- Up to twenty
- In person or on video
Burnout isn't a perk problem. Eighty years of happiness research points the same way your best people point when they leave: culture is trained, not announced. Lisa's workshop days give teams the actual science, and the actual practice, of working like humans again.
You have probably already tried the things that do not work. The wellbeing app nobody opened. The away day with the rope course. The survey that asked how people felt and then went quiet. None of it failed because your team is cynical; it failed because none of it changed what happens on a Tuesday when the deadline moves.
Signature workshops run from a half-day to a full offsite, tailored to your team, from $2,500. Delivered by a Professional Certified Coach who spent years inside corporate life before leaving to do this.
What actually happens
-
Before: the quiet audit
A short call with whoever owns the problem, and an anonymous three-question read of the team. Lisa arrives knowing what is actually going on rather than what the deck says, and the day is built on that.
-
The morning: the science, without the sermon
Eighty years of happiness research, delivered as something usable by people who are tired and sceptical. What actually predicts whether a team recovers, what does not, and why the fruit basket never worked.
-
The middle: the honest hour
Structured, facilitated, and the part most teams have never done: what it currently costs to work here, said out loud, without anyone being made wrong. Lisa runs this. It is the reason to bring in an outsider.
-
The afternoon: what changes on Monday
Three practices the team chooses, one thing leadership commits to in the room, and the sentence everyone can repeat when it slips. Concrete, small enough to survive a busy week, and written down before anyone leaves.
-
After: it lands or it does not
A written summary of what the team said and what was agreed, and a check-in at six weeks. Whether the day worked is measurable, and Lisa would rather measure it than assume it.
From $2,500 for the day
$2,500
A half-day for a team of up to twenty, in person or on video.
A full day, a larger group, travel outside Arizona, or a series across a quarter each move the number, and Lisa quotes it in the proposal rather than making you ask. Invoiced on your terms; most teams pay half up front and half after the day.
Ask for a proposal ↗Tell her about your team.
Lisa answers within a business day with a written proposal: the shape of the day, what it costs for your numbers, and two dates. No deck, no discovery sequence, and no sales call before you have seen a price.
Got it. She reads these herself, usually within a business day.
An honest fit
Whether a day like this is what you need
This is for you if
- Your people are hitting the targets and something has clearly gone out of them.
- Someone with authority will be in the room and is willing to be uncomfortable in it.
- You want the team to leave with three things they chose, not a laminated value set.
- You are prepared for honest answers to be said out loud in front of you.
This is not for you if
- You need a keynote to fill a conference slot. Lisa does those separately; this is not that.
- The real problem is one manager, and everyone knows it. A workshop will not fix that, and Lisa will tell you so.
- Leadership will not attend. Then the day teaches a team to want something the room cannot give them.
- You need it next week. The read of the team is what makes it work, and that takes a fortnight.
Before you decide
The questions you are already asking
Is this a wellbeing talk?
No. A talk changes what people know for about a week. This is facilitated work with a specific output: three practices the team chose, one leadership commitment made in the room, and a written record of both.
Can you do it on video?
Yes, and it works, though the honest hour is harder over a screen. If the team is distributed, Lisa runs it in two shorter sessions rather than one long one, because nobody is honest in hour four of a video call.
How big can the group be?
Up to twenty for the standard day. Above that the honest hour stops working and it becomes a talk, so Lisa splits larger teams across two days instead.
What do we get afterwards?
A written summary of what the team said and what was agreed, in language you can circulate, plus a check-in at six weeks to see whether any of it survived.
What does it cost for our size?
Ask for the proposal. It comes back with a number, the shape of the day and two dates, within a business day, and you have not spoken to anyone in sales because there is no one in sales.
